Facilities

Our home is made up of three principal wings mainly purpose built to modern standards.  The primary residential wing features 24 rooms over two floors with nursing stations on both floors.

Bedrooms -  We help our residents to make their rooms more homely by moving in their personal belongings.  Residents are welcome be involved in the decoration of their rooms before moving in. Long term residents have had their favourite flowering plants placed outside their windows. Other residents have had bird feeders strategically positioned so that they can observe the bird life from their rooms.

All of our bedrooms have a nurse call system installed and all of our care staff have hand held pagers to facilitate immediate response to calls.  Nurse call devices are installed throughout the communal areas as well.

Building - The building is fully accessible for those with disabilities. It includes features such as a large passenger lift, wide hallways for wheel chair access and handrails along the common parts. Our bathrooms have a baths and disabled showers.  We also have an in-house laundry service and several housekeepers to ensure that our high standards of
hygiene are maintained.

There are three separate gardens and all rooms look out into one of these gardens.  There is a large dining room with an outdoor patio with seating for warmer days next to the first garden near the entrance with many flowering plants.  The back garden has a path, bird bath and bird feeders.  The largest garden overlooks Beeston Commons down to the sea.  There are also two lounges, a reception, a quiet room and a dining area with outdoor patio.

There is ample parking for visitors in our car park as well as on adjacent streets.
